  • Partner with executive management to define and execute business growth strategies aligned with the Bank’s international objectives.

  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with domestic and overseas banks, multilateral institutions, regulatory bodies, and other strategic partners.

  • Expand revenue opportunities across correspondent banking, trade finance, liquidity management, treasury limits, and institutional funding.

  • Manage and optimize the Bank’s correspondent banking portfolio, including account structures and settlement arrangements across key markets.

  • Broaden the institution’s international banking network to enhance market access, support client activity, and diversify funding channels.

  • Assess macroeconomic developments, market shifts, and regulatory updates to identify strategic opportunities and manage potential risks.

  • Ensure all activities adhere to internal governance frameworks, regulatory obligations, and financial crime compliance requirements, including AML and KYC standards.

  • Work collaboratively with Treasury, Credit, Risk, and Corporate Banking teams to deliver integrated solutions and unlock cross-functional business opportunities.

  • Drive team performance by mentoring, developing, and empowering talent while ensuring commercial and operational targets are achieved.

  • Deliver periodic management reporting, business analytics, performance insights, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Act as the Bank’s representative at key industry forums, institutional meetings, and regional/international banking events.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • Extensive banking experience (typically 15+ years), with significant exposure to Financial Institutions, International Banking, Syndications, Structured Finance, or Correspondent Banking.

  • Strong understanding of global banking networks, institutional funding mechanisms, and syndicated lending structures.

  • Demonstrated track record in building and managing high-value relationships with international banks and financial counterparties.

  • Solid expertise in credit evaluation, financial analysis, risk frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

  • Commercially driven with strong business origination, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage high-performing teams and complex institutional portfolios.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and strategic reporting skills.

  • Fluency in English is essential; additional regional language capability is considered advantageous.
